Legal and Policy Work
Campaigning for stronger UK law on image-based sexual abuse — because right now, the law hasn't caught up with the harm.

Campaign overview
NYP works to influence law and policy so that survivors, not just platforms, are protected by design. This includes pushing for stronger criminal law around the creation, taking and sharing of intimate images without consent, including sexually explicit deepfakes, alongside better civil routes for survivors to act against both perpetrators and the tech companies hosting abusive content.

Partnering with others
NYP has campaigned alongside partners including GLAMOUR UK and the End Violence Against Women Coalition on these reforms. [PLACEHOLDER — swap in current live campaign asks, e.g. the Open Letter to the Rt Hon Peter Kyle, once Elena confirms latest status.]
