Open Letter to To the Right Honourable Peter Kyle
In response to the growing crisis of Intimate Image Abuse, survivors, advocates, and experts have come together to address the critical gaps in current legislation and demand urgent action from the government.
Being a volunteer for the charity has been incredibly fulfilling, and witnessing the real difference their projects make has deepened my faith in the power of shared kindness and community effort.

Why do we partner
NYP works alongside organisations who share a commitment to survivor safety and stronger protections against image-based abuse — including GLAMOUR UK, the End Violence Against Women Coalition, and legal academic Professor Clare McGlynn, with whom NYP has campaigned for a dedicated UK law on image-based abuse. NYP also works collaboratively across the wider support sector, referring survivors on to specialist services like the Revenge Porn Helpline where that's the better fit. If your organisation shares these goals, we'd like to hear from you.
Help us tell the world (press pack)
For journalists and media covering image-based sexual abuse, #NotYourPorn can provide background information, survivor-focused perspectives, current statistics, and commentary from our team. We ask that coverage uses survivor-centred language and avoids terms like "revenge porn," which frames the issue as retaliation rather than abuse. Get in touch and we'll help you get the story right.
